REMEMBERING MOMMY & CELEBRATING MOMMY'S LIFE!

Thank you to my dear friend Loida Poliquit Mayo who I have known since 1978 (through AFS, Foreign Exchange Program).  She traveled all the way from Batangas to attend Mommy's wake last December 16, 2018. I did know back then that she recorded the Eulogy but what I did not know is that this video is actually available online!  I just discovered it this morning!  Thank You, Loida, dear friend

Hi mom! Happy happy birthday! My prayer for you is for God to give you comfort. The Comfort you gave me when our lives changed forever when daddy died. Comfort of knowing that you were always there for us no matter what. Comfort knowing that you would never let anything tear our family apart.  Comfort of knowing that whatever came our way -God would be the answer. You have lived a long life filled with joy pain and most of all love.  I look up to you so much! And I pray that you feel Gods comfort today and all the days of your life. I love you more than words can express.

My prayer for you is ... happiness. The kind of happiness you only feel when the sun shines on your face. The kind of happiness you only feel when you smell the rain. The kind of happiness you only feel when you hear ocean waves crashing on the beach. These moments of happiness only happen every now an again, but for you, I pray these happen every day. 

You deserve the kind of happiness that you’ve made me feel when in your presence. Happy Birthday Lola! I wish so badly I could celebrate with you, but for now, just know that I’m thinking of you and thinking of all the happiness you bring me ♥️♥️♥️

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband  also, and he praises her:

"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."

Lola I think you are the perfect description of the woman described in proverbs 31 and you have instilled that attitude in your daughters and your granddaughters. My prayer for you is that your health will be significantly better and that you will never be in pain. Lola i miss you so much and I wish I was there to celebrate your wonderful wonderful life. I love you always Lola Lee.
