2013 BIRTHDAY GREETINGS from ALL OF US!

Golden Event/Grand Re-union in Boracay
April 2013
"Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God."

God loves you Mommy/Lola and He has been and always will be right by your side. Rely on him and He will carry you through the hard times and rejoice with you through the good times in life.

Marla created this blog in July 2010 so that different ones in the family could express words of encouragement to you.  We decided to continue in this "tradition" therefore, since July 2010, every year, for your birthday, we would post our thoughts, our hearts, our words to you.

We continue this tradition this year but with a "twist".  Instead of words from us, we would like to share words from  Him...our King of Kings and Lord of Lords...Our God. For your 2013 birthday, we would like to share with you verses from the Bible that have personally blessed us, ministered to us, corrected us... It is our prayer that His Word would touch your heart, refresh your soul and give you passion for life.

WE LOVE YOU MOMMY/LOLA...HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

From DAD (LANDON):

Proverbs 31:10-11

"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust  in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil."

From DOUG:

Romans 15:13 (NLTSE)
"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."

From JONINA:

Isaiah 40:27-31 (NLT)
"O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles? O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights?
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

From BEN:

Isaiah 41:13 (NLT)
For I hold you by your right hand—
    I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

From JOHN:

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
From AMANDA:
1 Corinthians 1:4                                                                                                       “I always thank God for you because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus."

From CARLO:
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)                                                                                                   "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

From  SANDRA:
Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)                                                                                              Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”

From CHLOE:
Philippians 4:19-20 (ESV)                                                                                    And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

From JUSTIN:
Psalm 23 (NIV)
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

From DINO:
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NLT)
“But forget all that-  it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new.  See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?  I will make a pathway through the wilderness.  I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

From  JANNETTE & VERA:
Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus”.

From VINZ:
John 3:16 (NLT)
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

From  TAYSHA:
Proverbs 31:26-31
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.

From DANI:
Matthew 19:26                                                                                                     But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
From GRANT:

From ALVIN:
Proverbs 31:26-31
"She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many woman do noble things, but you surpass them all.' Charm is deceptive , and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."

From  THERESA & MICHAEL:
Proverbs 4:4-9 (CEV)
"If you follow my teachings and keep them in mind, you will live. Be wise and learn good sense; remember my teachings and do what I say. If you love Wisdom and don't reject her, she will watch over you. The best thing about Wisdom is Wisdom herself; good sense is more important than anything else.
"If you value Wisdom and hold tightly to her, great honors will be yours. It will be like wearing a glorious crown of beautiful flowers."
